IA’s information days are a great opportunity to learn more about life with a stoma or internal pouch, meet others who are living life themselves after bowel surgery, discuss the latest products in stoma care with company representatives, listen to key speakers and participate in our workshops. Our amazing line up of speakers for 2023 include Professor Gordon Carlson CBE and Sophie Medlin, IA’s Dietitian and Chair for the Dietetic Association for London, who’s one of the stars of Channel 4’s ‘Know Your S***’

The Bryan Brooke Lecture will be delivered by Professor David Jayne, Professor of Surgery, University of Leeds, entitled ‘Technology and Innovation in the Surgical Management of Patients with Bowel Disease’.

Alongside this eminent line-up we’re running workshops on internal pouch, hydration & nutrition, and IA Together.

Internal Pouch will be running Q&A sessions around better living with an internal pouch.

IA Together will be hosting a nutrition and hydration workshop, culminating in the final day of IA’s Big Bake, in recognition of Ileostomy Awareness Month.
