Following our successful event last year, our information day in Scotland again promises to be a programme of interesting presentations and workshops…. and best of all it is free to attend! Our information days are open to members and non-members whether you’ve had surgery, considering surgery, supporting someone who has or will, or just generally have an interest in the work that we do. We ask you to register your attendance in advance through our booking form below and then sit back, although don’t forget to stick it your calendar, and we’ll look forward to seeing you on the day!
The information day will be held on 8 November at Glasgow VOCO Grand Central Hotel from 11am – 5.30pm (registration on the day open from 11am), chosen for its excellent public transport and road links making it more accessible to those travelling from across Scotland (or further afield).
The day will be informative and interactive and a real mix for everyone. Additionally we’ll provide an opportunity to speak to company representatives about their stoma care products and you can chat with others who have been through a similar experience and maybe pick up a few of their tips or share a few of your own. For many, just knowing and seeing others who have been through a similar experience is beneficial and rewarding at a difficult time. Did we mention that there will be free refreshments available during the day, and a (free) light lunch too!
