Fancy taking part in a sponsored walk? Running a 5K or 10K? Perhaps cycling from Land’s End to John O’ Groats? Or maybe something more daring like a skydive or parachute jump?

Whether you like to live life on the edge or go with something a little less strenuous, why not take a new challenge and raise funds for IA at the same time?
When someone undergoes surgery, they often want to give something back to thank IA for the support they received or want to help others who are going through something similar.

Charities like IA welcome fundraising donations so we can fund special projects or help others who might be struggling with their ileostomy or internal pouch. Fundraising is one of the many income streams open to IA and through your generosity over the years we have been fortunate recipients on many occasions.

As part of your fundraising event, we’ll send you:

  • An IA t-shirt to wear during your event or to train in
  • A selection of leaflets to help you promote your chosen charity to your friends and family so they can understand too how their generosity can help others
  • Posters to advertise your event and encourage sponsorship

We are also registered with online fundraising platforms such as Just Giving and Virgin Money Giving so once you’ve set up your fundraising page (links below), you can share the link with your friends, family and work colleagues so they can sponsor you. We are happy to share your story and link on IA’s social media channels and in IA’s Journal so we can promote your event to our followers and members alike.

If you’d like to start fundraising for IA why not contact IA National Office and we’d be happy to discuss how we can support you.
