We’re passionate about all things ileostomy and internal pouch at IA and we’re not afraid to shout about it. We’ve been promoting the positive things about living with an ileostomy since 1956 and internal pouch since 1993.

Having a stoma or pouch shouldn’t stop you enjoying the things you like to do in life and neither should other people’s attitudes or ignorance towards bowel surgery. Don’t let having a stoma or pouch hold you back and have the confidence to be you and do the things that you believe in.

We’ve run many campaigns over the years to not only promote the positive aspects of bowel surgery but to speak up for those who need help or don’t feel that they are being heard. IA is the patient voice; get in touch if we can help you with yours.
