Things are really ramping up now to the Information Day on 29 April, being held at Chesford Grange Hotel, Kenilworth CV8 2LD. It is great to be back together, face-to-face after the last three years of disruption.
The conference is entitled ‘Stronger Together’ and has an amazing line up of speakers. These include the likes of Professor Gordon Carlson CBE and Sophie Medlin, IA’s Dietitian and Chair for the Dietetic Association for London, who’s one of the stars of Channel 4’s ‘Know Your S***’
The Bryan Brooke Lecture will be delivered by Prof David Jayne, Professor of Surgery, University of Leeds, entitled ‘technology and innovation in the surgical management of patients with bowel disease’.
Alongside this eminent line-up there are additional workshops run by Internal Pouch, IA Together and Sarah Russell.
Internal Pouch will be running Q&A sessions around better living with an internal pouch and Sarah Russell will be running interactive core and pelvic floor exercises for hernias.
IA Together will be hosting a nutrition and hydration workshop, culminating in the final day of IA’s Big Bake, in recognition of Ileostomy Awareness Month.
